Support & development · design and delivery alongside your team
Additional experience alongside the team that knows your business.
Your developers know the users and the history of the product. A new stage of growth, a difficult integration or an architectural decision may call for additional experience. We work alongside the team, contributing to the product and to the knowledge that stays with your business.
Working alongside your developers
Extend your capability. Keep the knowledge in your team.
Work through the decision and help deliver it
Consider an application being extended to several branches. What can be shared, what differs by branch and who maintains the agreements? The answer requires discussion with the business as well as decisions about data, permissions and rollout.
We can work through the question with the team, review the design and help build the agreed components. The advice stays connected to implementation, with clear responsibility for who delivers and reviews each part.
What our contribution can include
A shared technical design
The options, trade-offs and chosen direction, connected to the business requirement. Decisions are recorded in a form developers can use: data, interfaces, responsibilities and the boundaries of the first release.
Hands-on development
Build agreed components, review code and tests together and resolve technical obstacles. Responsibilities remain explicit: who sets priorities, who accepts work and who authorises a release?
Knowledge retained by the team
Design discussions, focused guidance and documentation during delivery. We explain the reasoning behind a decision and test it in the application. Your team should be able to understand, change and operate the component.
Experience within an established business
At an American building materials supplier, we work on established applications and cloud middleware supporting sales, inventory and logistics. Guidance for internal developers is part of that engagement.
The combination matters. Business context explains why a change is needed; collaboration with the team determines how to introduce it responsibly. Internal knowledge remains part of the solution.
Agree a role that helps the team move forward
The collaboration can start with a design question, integration or defined development assignment. We agree availability, decision-making authority, deliverables and communication upfront. There is no need to take over product responsibility where your organisation already manages it well.
AI-assisted development does not change that responsibility. Generated code still needs to fit the architecture, be reviewed and pass the agreed tests. If AI becomes part of the product, we first assess the task and the access required. A model or agent is not introduced simply to make the work appear current.
