Design · development · rollout

Custom software, from the first design to everyday use.

You have a plan for the business. It may need further definition, or you may already have designs, requirements and a project team. IndustrylinQ takes responsibility for turning that work into software people can use every day, from architecture and development to rollout and handover.

Build on the knowledge your team already has

When the direction is still open, we work through users, business rules and connections with you. For a manufacturer or distributor, that might mean establishing what sales can promise and what production or the warehouse needs to know. Those answers determine what we build and connect, whether it is a dealer portal, production application or employee platform.

If you already have a detailed brief, that is our starting point. We review the requirements and designs with your product owner, analyst or design partner. Together, we identify settled decisions, technical questions and matters that still need agreement. You do not need to commission the same preparation again.

For a US employers association, we built member and administration applications from an external partner’s designs. With KidsJobs, the client brought the business vision and we took responsibility for product development, the app and its backend.

From our work · Schoonmaakwoede

A booking is where the work begins.

The customer chooses the work and a time. The platform connects those choices with pricing, scheduling and delivery. We built the customer application, Office, partner portal and field app as parts of the same service.

  1. Customer chooses work and time
  2. Price and capacity determine the booking
  3. Partner and delivery team receive the job
  4. Payment and administration follow through

The deliverables

What we deliver

Applications and the business logic behind them

A customer portal, employee app, back office and the integrations they need. We design data, permissions and actions together. A customer agreement keeps its meaning as work moves between teams and applications.

Tested increments you can assess

We deliver usable parts, with agreed acceptance criteria. Employees assess how they work in practice; we also test processing, access controls and failure handling. Issues that remain become specific actions for the next stage.

A planned rollout and a usable handover

The transition has its own plan: transferring data, preparing users, trying the application in practice and arranging support. Source code, documentation, access and maintenance responsibilities form part of delivery. Your team needs to be able to take it forward.

Investigate the uncertainties that could change the project

An integration may be available on paper while lacking an essential operation. A mobile application may work well with a connection but need a different approach when someone goes offline. We investigate these dependencies early.

We agree the scope of the first release, each party’s responsibilities and the conditions for putting it into use. A focused technical trial may be needed before we can estimate a particular part. You can then see what has been established, which assumption remains open and what it means for cost and timing.

An existing accounting or scheduling system may remain the authority for particular data. We establish where records are maintained and how other applications process changes. This avoids two systems quietly maintaining different versions of the same agreement.

Test the business process across the applications

We follow a piece of work from beginning to end. Can an account manager record an agreement, can the delivery team act on it, and can administration complete the next step? A rejection, a change or a failed integration also belongs in that assessment.

In JobLog24, a supply request moves from the cleaner to the office and delivery driver, after which administration can invoice the materials. Its value lies in how those actions connect. Making an individual screen work is one part of the assignment.

Regular demonstrations give us a basis for discussing delivered work and the next decisions. When a new requirement arises, we explain its effect on scope, timing and budget. You help decide what takes priority and what can wait.

Technical choices that fit the product

We develop in TypeScript, using Angular or Vue for applications and Node.js on Google Cloud for the backend. For iOS and Android, we can reuse the web codebase with Capacitor and add native capabilities. The application, existing environment and maintenance needs determine the choice.

AI earns its place by making a specific task work better. Fixed rules remain conventional business logic. An agent is useful when it needs to choose subsequent steps within clear boundaries. We favour private AI with a suitable open model, weighing quality, hosting and running costs together. A larger model is not an objective in itself.

For private AI, we can host an open model on a dedicated VPS or suitable cloud environment. We favour European models where they fit the task, and test a smaller model before committing to a larger, more expensive one. Capability, response time and operating costs belong in the same decision. We agree what an agent may do, when a person must review its work and how failed actions can be recovered.

When we use AI during development, we remain responsible for design, technical review and delivery. Explore our approach to cloud architecture, security and privacy and private AI.

Putting the platform into use is part of delivery

Before the transition, we establish which data is needed, who accepts the work and how users will be prepared. A pilot can provide a useful first step. We agree what must be working before the next team or location moves over, and how to recover if a change does not work as intended.

Once the application is in use, questions, maintenance and new requirements need clear ownership. We can provide support and further development, or hand over to your own team. Those arrangements belong before the transition to everyday use.
