Platform development · data, agreements and handovers

An integration works when people can rely on what happens next.

An order changes, an employee joins or a customer signs an agreement. What should that mean in the other systems? We design and build connections that carry the agreement through, show its progress and account for what can go wrong.

WorkVine: HR, scheduling and employees

Purpose-built business logic and applications, connected to specialist services.

Establish the meaning before connecting the systems

Suppose a distributor fulfils an order from two branches. The sales application holds the customer agreement; stock and dispatch information sit elsewhere. Copying records does not establish whether the whole order can be supplied, who may change it or when the customer should receive confirmation.

With the employees involved, we determine which system owns each piece of information and when an action becomes final. We examine available APIs, events and file exchange. The integration follows the service the business needs to deliver.

What we deliver

Defined data and processing responsibilities

A description of how information moves, including its source, destination, meaning and access rules. Corrections and exceptions are included: who can resolve a difference, and what needs processing again afterwards?

A working, tested integration

The APIs, data transformations and processing required between systems. Tests cover ordinary transactions as well as missing information, delayed responses and repeated messages. Reprocessing must not casually create another order or invoice.

Visibility and support arrangements

Processing records, visible failures and clear responsibility for follow-up. Employees need to distinguish receipt, completion and work awaiting action. Maintainers receive documentation and the agreed means to investigate and recover.

Integrations within complete products

In WorkVine, we connect employee processes with payroll platforms, Brevo and digital signing. Schoonmaakwoede connects ordering, service delivery and administration with Mollie and Exact.

For a digital healthcare platform, we worked on the API, patient application and third-party communications integration. The selected family member helped determine which service applied. The connection needed to carry that context, not simply move data.

These projects differ in sector and technology. In each, the integration forms part of the product people use.

Choose the technical approach around the work

Some actions need an immediate answer before the person can continue. Others can run in the background with a clear status. We make that decision per action, designing access control, failure handling and monitoring alongside it. Our cloud architecture approach explains the foundation.

We start with a meaningful sequence of work, including the exceptions the team needs to resolve. You can assess it in use before extending it. Any future AI application must respect the same data responsibilities and controlled actions; connecting systems does not itself call for an agent.

Tell us which systems are involved and where an agreement loses its meaning between them. We can then define the integration scope.
