HR services · United States
A member platform connected to the people behind the service.
A US employers’ association provides businesses with HR advice, training and membership services. An external partner had designed the digital experience. IndustrylinQ took responsibility for application development and cloud architecture: an environment for members and one for the employees administering the services.
Employers’ association · members and administration
Two applications with the same technical foundation.
Member application
Access and actions in the context of membership.
Administration application
Information and tasks for the organisation delivering the service.
The assignment: turn supplied designs into working applications
The client already had a design partner. Our contribution began with the engineering and implementation. That involves two perspectives: what a member needs to do and what employees need to administer the services.
The member application is the visible point of entry. The administration application supports the work behind it. We built both applications and designed the cloud architecture. The supplied designs became working software with a technical foundation for the different users.
Distinct responsibility for design and engineering
A design shows how someone moves through an application. Development also requires decisions about data, access and application behaviour. An employee administering a service has a different responsibility from a member using it.
IndustrylinQ owned application development and cloud architecture; the external partner supplied the designs. This distinction makes our contribution clear. The collaboration produced two different ways of accessing the same services, with each partner contributing its own expertise.
Your existing design partner can stay involved
This assignment is relevant when the vision and designs are already in place and you need a partner to develop the technical solution and build it. We work from the knowledge and decisions your team already holds.
For a new assignment, we establish which user actions have been defined, which technical decisions remain open and who decides on changes. We then agree how your team will assess the delivered applications. Our delivery approach explains the steps from defining scope to rollout. Read about customer and employee portals to explore how we connect different roles within a platform.

We start from where you are. Discuss the application, any existing requirements and the team we would work alongside.
